Call for Artists
The Woodbridge Public Library, in collaboration with the Barron Arts Center, is pleased to invite a diverse set of artistic voices to celebrate the township’s 350th anniversary as part of an open, all-media exhibition. This open call aims to reflect and highlight the artistic voices in our community, showcasing a wide array of ages, experience levels, and mediums. We want visitors to this exhibition to come away with a full understanding of the range of talents in this place we all call home. Works will be displayed at an opening reception, where prizes will be awarded for each category. There will be special prize categories for Woodbridge residents, along with a Mayor’s Prize and Director’s Choice.
This is an open call for residents of New Jersey. Submissions are not limited to only artists who have been exhibited in the past. All mediums are welcome. Works must have been completed by the artist within the last five years, and must be available for the duration of the run. Category winners may be asked to allow their works to be exhibited for additional time.
All submitting artists are asked to first complete an application. Acceptance is not guaranteed with application. Pending acceptance, works must be delivered to the Main Library at an agreed upon time and date.
Submission form is located below. Up to three works may be submitted for consideration.
Please allow 2-4 days to hear from us regarding submission acceptance.
Selected participants will be notified by December 1, 2018.
For assistance, please contact: email@example.com or 732.634.4450 x7120.
