Join us as the Student Borrower Protection Center presents a webinar on Thursday, February 3, at 7PM EST that will highlight the updates on the program and how to navigate the waiver process. [NOW EXTENDED] Woodbridge Public Library now offers Brainfuse HelpNow™, online tutoring and resources

Woodbridge Public Library is pleased to announce the launch of Brainfuse HelpNow™ – on demand, anytime, anywhere eLearning for all ages and levels.

Brainfuse HelpNow™ provides learning solutions for users of all needs and abilities. Students can communicate with live tutors using an interactive whiteboard to chat, write, draw, copy/paste text or images and graph homework problems.

HelpNow™ will be available to all library patrons from the public computers at their local library or from any computer with internet connection from March 30th through June 15th, with live tutors available from 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

FamilySearch.org: Getting the Most of a Free Genealogy Resource

One of the largest free genealogy websites, FamilySearch.org contains a massive global collection of records and resources. Join the Woodbridge Main Library in-person on January 25 at 7PM for a program lead by genealogist Laura Cubbage-Draper as she guides us thorough the site, as well as provide search tips, and techniques for navigation of the main components (searching and browsing records, digital library, research wiki, and family trees).

This informational and inspiration seminar is co-sponsored by Woodbridge Garden Club and Woodbridge Senior Centers and will help gardeners of all ages and abilities to examine how and when they garden for their greatest comfort, valuate their garden to see how it can be modified for safety and ease of maintenance and determine how favorite tools can be adapted and explore new ergonomic tools on the market.
