Woodbridge Main Library - 3rd Floor Meeting Room
A New Volunteers Tea will be held in the Main Library BEC on Wednesday, December 12, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm for adults with an interest in making a difference in the lives of special needs adults. Information about volunteering for a Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC) will be made available as well as an opportunity to speak with current volunteers.
Volunteers will assist the library for one hour a week with a weekday book discussion group formed by Woodbridge Township's Our House Inc.'s Hope Autism Solutions Program at Cypress Recreation Center and Woodbridge Public Library. Book discussion volunteers will be trained by the Next Chapter Book Club organization to facilitate participation in the new book club that will meet in the Main Library.
“Participation in a program like NCBC can truly make a difference in the lives of these adults as your support and guidance will encourage reading and incite the joy that reading brings," said Hope Autism Solutions Woodbridge Program Director Marissa Torrone.
