Did you know the library has a monthly program to help children build confidence about reading?
At our Read to a Dog program children between grades two and seven can practice reading aloud to some very special listeners. Hesitant readers are paired up with certified (and friendly) therapy animals for a fifteen minute reading session. The animals offer children the engagement of an audience without the fear of judgment.
