This is an American pre-Code drama film, directed by George Cukor and starring Katharine Hepburn, Joan Bennett, Frances Dee and Jean Parker. The following week, on Friday, December 13, 2019 we will watch the technicolor marvel, Little Women (1949).  This film stars June Allyson, Peter Lawford, Margaret O'Brien and Elizabeth Taylor.

Little Women follows the lives of four sisters, Amy, Jo, Beth and Meg, as they come of age in America in the aftermath of the Civil War. Though all very different from each other, the March sisters stand by each other through difficult and changing times.  These films are based on the 1868 novel of the same name, by Louisa May Alcott.

These movies are free and open to all.  No registration is needed.
