Patron Complaints Policy

All patron complaints should be handled as serious and rational matters.  Even though an employee may have already heard a complaint many times, it may be a new one for the patron.

Complainants wishing to carry their complaint further should be referred to the appropriate supervisor.

If the complaint concerns a book or other type of library material, the Controversial Materials Policy should be followed.
