Virtual Program - Disability Law: Successful Transition to Adulthood

Join us November 29 at 7PM for a presentation that provides a more in-depth understanding of when a guardianship is needed, the different types of guardianships, the role of court appointed counsel, and the responsibilities and reporting requirements of the guardian. We will also explore options for supported decision making when a guardianship is not appropriate. This presentation will also discuss applying for entitlements like supplemental security income, Medicaid, educational entitlement in the school system, and services through the New Jersey of Division of Developmental Disabilities.
