Redevelopment Agency – Annual Notice – 2023


            In accordance with Statute requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act C.10.4-8(d), listed below are the regularly scheduled meetings for the Redevelopment Agency of the Township of Woodbridge for the year 2023.  All meetings will be held on Tuesday afternoons in the third floor conference room of the Municipal Building, # 1 Main Street, Woodbridge, New Jersey, at 5:00 p.m. unless publicized to be held at another location. Formal action may be taken at these meetings.

Description


The Redevelopment Agency of the Township of Woodbridge is responsible for implementing redevelopment plans. 

Appointment Process


The Redevelopment Agency has 7 members. Two of the members are Municipal Council members who are appointed by the governing body. His/Her term of office is one year unless he/she completes their term as a council member. No more than two members can be officers or employees of the township.

The rest of the Redevelopment Agency is comprised of citizens of the township who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Municipal Council. Their (staggered) terms of office is 5 years.
