Woodbridge Achieves Sustainable Jersey Gold Star for Water

The Woodbridge Water Story survey helps educate residents about the fate and transport of water, recreational aspects of water within and near the community, and outreach in relation to ecology, flood risk, and watersheds. It also invites residents to offer thoughts about the Township’s proposed actions to best address the matters identified in the Water Story.

Woodbridge Township garnered the 2022 Sustainable Jersey™ Silver-Level Recertification and Sustainability Champion Award for large-size municipalities for the 13th year. Sustainable Jersey serves as a guidepost as the Township continues to lead the state in sustainable and green initiatives. In the quest for the 2022 championship award, Woodbridge Township competed against 465 participating municipalities, including 199 Sustainable Jersey certified municipalities and 69 silver-level certified towns, in the Sustainable Jersey competition earning sustainable points with actions in separate categories – scoring an incredible 1,245 points!
