We're putting the final touches on an exciting line-up for the Mayor's Summer Concert series:  Monday Night ‘Doo Wop & Oldies!’   Tribute Band Tuesday!  Woodbridge Wednesday concerts at Parker Press Park!  Local Band Thursday at Tanzman Park (across from the Woodbridge NJT Train Station)!  Friday Jazz in Avenel!  Country Sunday at Parker Press Park!  Music-On-Main Street!  Tooling Around the Township ‘Builds & Repairs’ on Sat., April 28.  Plan to shop the Summer Farmers Market.  Don’t forget about the Barron Arts Center’s concerts, exhibits and the annual BarronFest Art Festival.  Taste of Woodbridge arrives in October... and there is much, much more to come.

Do you have tree limbs and branches that came down during the storm?  Here’s what you do!!! 

Cut (3 foot lengths), bundle and tie tree limbs and brush as best as possible and stack on the curb. The special pick-up for tree limbs, branches and brush is for a limited time only – the special pick-up ends on March 31, 2018...  So schedule your FREE pick-up today by calling the Department of Public Works Sanitation  Office at: 732-738-1311.  Visit the Township web page at: www.twp.woodbridge.nj.us for more information.


St. Patrick's Day Parade Set for March 11

The 45th Annual Woodbridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Celebration gets underway on Sunday at 9:00 AM 
with the presentation of Proclamations to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade honorees followed by the raising of the Irish
Flag at Woodbridge Town Hall (1 Main Street). The St. Patrick’s Day Parade - sponsored by the American Irish
Association of Woodbridge – steps-off at 1:30 PM from Woodbridge High School, moves to Freeman Street,
onto Linden Avenue, to Amboy Ave. (Route 35) to Main Street, concluding in front of Town Hall.  Enjoy more than
80 marching units, including traditional Irish Pipe Bands and Step Dancers, Irish-themed parade floats and displays, marching bands representing Woodbridge, Colonia and JFK high schools, Woodbridge Township First Responders, Fire Departments, First Aid and Emergency Response Squads, members of Woodbridge scouting organizations and community, civic, sports and neighborhood associations.  Erin go Braugh!!!!

The Woodbridge Township Historic Preservation Commission launches their latest Historic Tour of Woodbridge – Vol. IX: Edgar Hill & Surrounds.  Stop by the Barron Arts Center on Sat., March 10 from 10:00 AM – Noon to learn all about the tour. 


The Woodbridge Public Library will participate in New Jersey Makers Day on Sat., March 10 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Main Library.  The Main Library Meeting Room will provide innovation and creation stations for children of all ages and their families that will include robotics, building and crafting. NEW FOR 2018: The Second Floor Magazine Room will provide  demonstrations and activities for grades 8 - adult! There are many events, programs and happenings every day that focus on our schools, student and extra-curricular activities.  The E-News encourages residents, parents, students and visitors to support the various school-related activities - without community sponsorship, many of the student programs, events and activities would not be able to take place.  Plan to attend.
