    EXHIBIT: “Sculptural Diversity: Sculptor Affiliates of the Art Center of Northern New Jersey” On View September 1—October 28, 2022 Founded in 1972, this group's mission has been to educate and inform the public about three-dimensional art. NJ sculptors from all corners of the world exhibit together throughout New Jersey working in a wide range of materials from traditional stone & bronze to fiber, paper and recycled products. The exhibit entitled “Sculptural Diversity” examines how our cultural differences can affect differences in choice and application of materials. Also available to view virtually on the Barron Arts Facebook Page. Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners Through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.

    Join us as Kim Ruiz director of the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Inc. leads us in a discussion of Hispanic Heritage! We will explore the African Diaspora in the Hispanic Caribbean with a focus on the music, food and language.

    The Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Inc. (PRAHD) was created in Perth Amboy, New Jersey by a group of concerned community leaders/professionals who sought to provide supportive services to disadvantaged Perth Amboy youth. In May 1974, PRAHD was incorporated as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and began to operate state funded anti-delinquency programming within Perth Amboy.
