Mayor John E. McCormac and Woodbridge Redevelopment Agency Welcome AriZona Beverage Manufacturing Center to Woodbridge Township
Mayor John E. McCormac welcomed the arrival of the new AriZona Beverage Production, Manufacturing and Bottling Facility at the Federal Business Center located in the Keasbey Industrial Zone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony announcing the operational start-up of the 621,000 square-foot manufacturing and distribution center.
“We are pleased to welcome AriZona as an outstanding member of the Woodbridge Township corporate community,” said Mayor McCormac. “AriZona represents the most significant development project to locate in Woodbridge Township in decades. It is important to note that AriZona reviewed many location options to site their North American manufacturing facility and chose Woodbridge to construct their distribution facility.”
AriZona Beverage, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of iced-tea beverage products, is readying the opening of a new state-of-the-art 621,000 SF production and bottling facility on a 37-acre parcel at the Keasbey Redevelopment Zone in Woodbridge Township. Located on AriZona Way off Mac Lane, the production facility is close proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike and the Central New Jersey Transportation network, Newark Liberty International Airport, the Port Newark/Elizabeth Marine Terminal and East Coast rail network(s). When construction is complete, an abandoned rail spur will be reactivated to serve the facility. The AriZona Beverage production and bottling facility features 45 dock positions, a 20,640 SF maintenance garage, solar energy systems, and is outfitted with a guard shack reminiscent of the Alamo.
